Engineering Student dies trying Iron Butt Challenge (Saddle Sore)

Midhun Khosh, 22-year-old engineering student of the Nehru Engineering College at Pambady in Kerala’s Palakkad district, was killed by crashing into lorry in Chitradurga, Karnataka during his IBA saddle sore challenge. Saddle sore is a challenge where rider should complete 1600kms within 24hrs.
Midhun was riding 250cc Honda CBR 250R Repsol Edition for this challenge. The accident took place near Chitradurga on the Bengaluru-Pune National Highway at 4 am.
Karnataka police said that it was also a fault of truck who was driving rash and applied sudden brake which caused rider to hit the truck from behind at an enormous speed resulting in his death on the spot.

Accepting these kind of challenges are very good but please wear proper riding gears and ride safe. Life is very important and precious.
Avoid these things on highway:
Overtaking by quickly changing the lanes.
Keeping close distance while overtaking.
